Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assembles large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
- Identifies, designs and implements internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
- Builds analytics tools that utilise the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
- Works with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Keeps our data separated and secure
- Creates data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimising our product into an innovative industry leader
- Works with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
- Handling datasets via streaming or batching, from online to offline data from on-prem
- Making the ‘fast dashboard’ in data visualization of the choice (Data Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau)
- Care about lowest latency data query to provide granular access to large datasets in BigQuery
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or a similar technical fields, or has practical experience
- You have minimum 1 years experience in data engineering and data management
- You are extremely familiar with Marketing Technology Platform and Data Analytics
- Technical experience with databases, query performance, data processing engines and systems
- Experience building a query processing engine for a SQL (structural data)
- Experience in building OLTP and/or complex analytic platform (OLAP, data-lake, data warehouse, and business-specific data-marts)
- Experience in building high availability data design and scale-out database architectures
- Well-understanding about enterprise workloads
- Understand about data security, data governance, data lineage, and how to secure the data in the cloud
- Passionate to collaborate and closely hands-on with cross-functional team to assist, help, and acknowledge them about the solution
- You know well before others about the query performance issues and how-to deal with those challenges in a complex and large dataset
