Brand Partner Specialist (BPS) is responsible for selling IBM offerings through the channel partners. BPS will also establish, develop, maintain and manage relationships with IBM Business Partners to meet sales target and ensure customer satisfaction consistent with company policy and objectives.
The Brand Partner Specialist (BPS) role is a sub-Brand specialized partner-facing role with responsibility for the success of the IBM business’ partners in their territories. BPS’s are deployed across named Partners, Select territories, and Build plans allowing flexibility to address unique coverage requirements while capitalizing on the common responsibilities and skills needed to drive business’ partner success.
BPS’s are responsible for engaging Build partners, understanding their solutions, creating an IBM Software point of view that creates an environment of favor to embed IBM Software, and connect solutions to IBM’s go-to-market. BPS’s are responsible for the success of assigned partners as measured by sub-Brand revenue.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- 3 – 7 years of experiences as a Software Sales or Technical Sales.
- Interest in developing a technology sales career.
- A self-starter, a motivated and driven person, who can work independently.
- Demonstrated an ability to manage customer relationship.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia & English to be able to discuss and communicate business or technical subjects with IBM business’s partner.
- Ideal candidate should have a passion for Security Software technology, solving problem and driving revenue growth.
- Good to have, a sales experience and comfortable with qualifying sales opportunities and prepared to drive opportunities with the partner community mainly in growth and strategic accounts.
- Have skills or experiences in project management, strategic communication, Partner or Client insights, sales tooling (ISC/PRM), and territory planning to manage activities with assigned partners (e.g., sales campaigns, lead pass, progression, enablement, and advocacy)
- Focuses on Individual/Team/ Department Operational Objectives
- Ability to recognize problems related to project objectives. Creativity and judgment applied to professional technical, or operational problems. Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.
