Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance on safety and environmental-related compliance projects, safety and environmental management system development and implementation, oversight, and auditing.

Develop environmental and safety procedures, plans, and reports.

Assess EHS regulatory compliance across various industry activities.

Perform compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Perform Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) for various industries conforming to the applicable international standards, e.g. IFC, EP4.

Design and implement environmental/safety management systems and environmental sustainability programs for clients, e.g. ESMS support.

Conduct training, field coaching, and assessment for EHS performance improvement projects.

Provide on-site EHS compliance support at client facilities.

Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and other Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.

Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.

Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.

Accountable for meeting personal billability and related targets.

Completion of tasks within project budget and time requirements.

Identification of efficiencies in carrying out deliverable related tasks

Client satisfaction through project communications & engagement, quality of outputs produced to deliver client service excellence.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's in engineering, safety, occupational health, or related discipline.

1-3 years of relevant experience in a consulting environment working with significant industrial clients on regulatory compliance and sustainable compliance programs.

Passionate about ESG performance improvement and have substantial experience developing and delivering world-class ESG program solutions.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations with a track record of environmental compliance and permitting and passionate about ESG performance improvement.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, Ms Office, and analytical skills; experienced in writing comprehensive technical reports.

Willingness to travel, domestic or internationally if required.
