This role involves managing all aspects of Beam's operations.
2 Key parts to this would be:
- Streamlining operations in existing cities
- Launching operations in new cities
- Part of founding team in Indonesia, involved in all aspects of setting up the business such as hiring local workforce, writing SOPs/workflow, Warehouse management, optimising operations, work making the product local (with central product team)
- Kickstart operations in every city of operations in key Indonesia cities
- Work closely with the regional teams (Product, Strategy, Marketing, Government Relations) to ensure a hyperlocal yet consistent execution of the various aspects required to run a successful market
- Set strategic direction for how to grow Beam's operations in a healthy manner
- Identify key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
- Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
- Figure out how/where to allocate resources to ensure profitable growth
- Take ownership of ops verticals and guide/coach more junior members of the team
- At least 1-2 year of experience in a global strategy consulting or multinational companies
- Proficient analytic knowledge of operations management and market analysis using data
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn is critical
