- You will be a manager of individual contributors that act as a squad lead which consists engineers from multiple discipline (Backend, Web, Android, QA, and SDET)
- Working closely with Product Manager / Associate Product Manager, Business Development Team, and Technical Program Manager to ensure department’s product initiatives can be achieved.
- Report directly to the Engineering Manager II and ensure the delivery of squad level OKR and Engineering score cards.
- Contribute to the day to day engineering excellence and solve production issues according to the given SLA.
- Responsible to groom engineers by having a: regular sharing session, creating a learning modules, and contribute to the new engineering onboarding process
- Actively contribute to the hiring process: Participate in interview sessions and create interview questions.
- Create an RFC of complex initiatives and be responsible for the execution deliverables.
- More than 3 years of experience in software development industry.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer that become a person in charge for multiple projects.
- Have at least 2 year of experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) and excel in Project Management tools such as JIRA.
- Generalist with specific expertise on either backend, Android, Front-end, QA, SDET or DevOps.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Expert with one or several cloud services such as: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure services and technologies.
- Excel with one of those programming languages: Node JS, Go, JAVA, or Kotlin.
- Experience with building the IT infrastructure from scratch.
- Experienced in handling highly available systems with high throughput transactional environment.
- Big or unicorn startup background is preferred.
