Job Purpose:
  • The USFP Recruitment Manager will achieve new student enrolment (NSE) and revenue goals for their allocated territory (primarily Indonesia and Singapore, but subject to change) by promoting and selling the University of Sydney portfolio of pathway programs to generate and convert a pipeline of leads.
  • This role will work across all assigned sales channels, working closely with both Study Group’s Sales Team and University of Sydney’s International Office staff to meet the recruitment targets.
  • The role will also develop customer knowledge for the assigned Taylors College Sydney products with both internal and external stakeholders and hold ownership for recruitment activities in line with a partner and/or account plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivery of USFP NSE Targets (70%)
  • In conjunction with Partner Sales Managers, develop and deliver strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of NSE targets with effective demand generation and pipeline management activities across all source markets.
  • Contribute towards the development of holistic annual agent account plans leading to increase in share of wallet, either to more centres in same destinations or diversify into new destinations
  • Manage prospective students through the buying process, from the point of application to arrival for designated products/markets.
Product Enablement (30%)
  • To be the primary subject matter expert on focus products assigned to the region and provide product thought leadership to both internal and external channel stakeholders as required.
  • Enable NSE achievement at a regional and product level by developing channel partners as part of an extended Study Group sales team through the delivery of efficient and impactful partner education/events/refresher training which maximise attendance and position Study Group as the go-to provider and supports continued improvements in agent satisfaction.
  • Ensure critical product, sales and marketing information is disseminated across the channel on a timely basis, document FAQs and localise / cascade sales and marketing materials as required and ensure that changes are embedded with speed and accuracy.
  • Represent Taylors College Sydney at both agent & non-agent exhibitions and recruitment events and ensure NSE budgets are met by the centre/program.
  • Coordinate University of Sydney in-market visits as required.
  • Collate and share market insights and product information through regular reporting with University of Sydney IO & SG ANZ Product Sales Directors to support the future development of current/new products.
General
  • The position may include travel to other markets from time to time.

Experience Required:
  • AT least 8 years of experience in product sales and marketing ideally through an agency and direct distribution model
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Australian international student marketplace and the challenges within this industry (Sydney preferred but not essential.
  • A commercially savvy product specialist with a successful track record in delivering results within a key account management model and/or contact centre sales model
  • Experience in successfully executing sales and conversion and strategies.
  • Experience identifying a customer’s business drivers and a track record of influencing their buying behaviours.
