- Coordinating staff, equipment, materials, and other resources needed to complete projects on time
- Analysing project requirements to develop a schedule that meets the company needs and constraints
- Assist in Project Risk and Opportunities Management, including schedule risk identification and mitigation.
- Coordinating with project managers to ensure all deliverable meet quality standards
- Overseeing the completion of projects by monitoring progress and communicating with all parties involved
- Working closely with the Project Teams to ensure that Master and Contract programmes are feasible, comply with contractual documents, deliverable and deadlines.
- Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to management. Monitor actual progress against planned progress.
- Prepare and present periodic schedule and project controls related reports for management / executive approval.
- Assist in the defence / approval of any claim for time extension or major change to the project schedule.
- Attend off-site meetings on as-required / ad-hoc basis in support of planning and scheduling matters.
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, including planning/scheduling, cost management, contract management, change management: preferably in data centre industries
- Successful applicants will have experience of working on high value, hi-tech, greenfield construction projects
- Ability to lead project controls effort within an operational area of the business to meet organisational objectives
- Significant knowledge and experience with Engineering and Construction, preferably from a data-centre projects background
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Expert skills in the use of Primavera and MS Project is essential
- Well versed in TIA 942 and Uptime Institute will be advantage
- Adept in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders - colleagues, consultants, contractors, clients, authorities, etc on process and timelines.
