About StraitsX
The StraitsX team is building the payments infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia. We aim to connect millions of individuals and businesses in the region to the Digital Assets market through our suite of products, including StraitsX APIs. About the role
We're looking for an experienced Product Manager who's passionate about designing and building a world-class API platform to connect individuals and businesses in Southeast Asia to Digital Assets.
You will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of key initiatives to scale our personal and business products. You will collaborate with stakeholders and other product managers to develop the roadmap for driving the adoption of our stablecoins as well.
You will be responsible for understanding the motivations and business requirements of our customers and their end-users, and to ensure that our product offering exceeds their expectations, driving towards our company mission of providing equal financial opportunities to everyone.
You will be growing and leading other product managers on the team, providing them with mentorship and feedback. You will be a role model for others to emulate and set high standards for those around you.
What you'll be doing
- Define the product vision and strategy of StraitsX products;
- Develop and execute the product roadmap to achieve business outcomes;
- Lead the ideation, research, design, development, and launch of StraitsX products;
- Write product specifications in detail to clearly define the problems and solutions;
- Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners, and the leadership team;
- Drive product development with engineers and designers;
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the performance and success of product features;
- Mentor and provide support to a team of product managers.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Product Management;
- You have a broad understanding of the Digital Assets sector;
- You have a proven track record of delivering measurable results for both users and businesses;
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done;
- You are analytical, have deep empathy for customers, and are able to synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform your approach;
- You are outspoken and have the ability to communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues;
- You are comfortable working in a tech environment with the ability to coordinate across several functions (Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Design, and Business Development);
- You have the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience;
