JOB STATEMENT
The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality field services to our customers adhering to MO safety requirements, process, instructions and training. To provide hands-on field installation repairs, and technical support for Metso Outotec customers.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Field Service activities & routines (both at customer site and office-based) with support/supervision level in-line with training certification.
- Field Service routines include:
- Basic customer problem-solving and/or troubleshooting (expert level)
- Repairs & preventative maintenance work,
- Equipment inspections with recommendations,
- Assembly/disassembly, installation & commissioning
- Trade specific discipline work (hydraulics, mechanics, automation, etc) operation and maintenance activities
- Remote support to colleagues and customers
- Follow MO processes, instructions and training in performance of duties, with a specific focus on our brand requirements, certification principles, field service process and proper utilization of the FSM tool and digital inspection application
- Follow MO & customer H&S requirements, ensuring adherence to the MO “Modus Operandi” in performing duties.
- Deliver site reports, time sheets & travel expense reports after each job intimely manner
- Identifying sales leads and promote services offering
- Degree and 3 - 7 years of relevant experience, ideally on grinding mills, crushers, as well as other process machinery.
- Professional certification in at least 1 technology
- Must be aggressive, assertive and confident.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Must be team-player and lead by setting examples.
- Knowledge of process equipment such as crushers, conveyers, pumps, screens, mills, etc
- Ability to works independently to complete given tasks and activities, solving daily basic technical service issues.
- Capability of making quick, accurate decisions relative to problem solution and problem liability.
- Well organized and able to maintain accurate records and communicate reliable information through detailed technical reports.
- Mechanical knowledge and abilities a must
- Capability to understand the various product applications marketed by Metso Outotec
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as parts manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Work directly with Safety supervisors and co-workers to conduct the work safely
- Good attendance record and willingness to work rotating shifts, or long hours
- Ability to stay in remote locations for extended period and have the stamina to work longs hours during emergency breakdowns and peak periods.
- Capability to understand the various product applications marketed by Metso Outotec
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as parts manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Work directly with Safety supervisors and co-workers to conduct the work safely
- Good attendance record and willingness to work rotating shifts, or long hours
