This City Business Analytics team is intended to work with regional products and Indonesia territory teams to increase consumer engagement. We make an impact by enabling more personalized experiences for different consumer segments in Indonesia and engaging them to solve their daily challenges by leveraging the Grab platform.
Get to know the Role
This position is intended to support the strategy manager by providing in-time data analysis, competitor/industry benchmarks, and key metric monitoring. The key success factor for this role is one that has excellent critical thinking skills and project management (breakdown problems, finding the hypotheses, tesingt the hypotheses, shepherding the project until the end of implementation, and ensuring the results are sustainable).
The Day-to-Day Activities
Be our expert in using data to measure and analyze business performance in each of our markets and lines of business
Explore business issues/opportunities, uncover insights, and/or identify targeted areas for business growth
Partner with management and operational teams to deep dive into core issues and use our data to find answers
Collaborate with various expert teams to rollout effective products/services and to expand Grab’s universe of data for building richer insights
Collaborate with various teams within tech and business to ensure strategic projects run on time and achieve expected targets
Supporting city team on ensuring optimal spending to achieve service reliability, business growth and safeguard drivers’ earnings
The Must-Haves
Effective communicator to both technical and business audiences
Passionate about solving problems – possesses a relentless need for investigation and data exploration
Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
A Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, or any engineering
Strong foundation in data analysis using BI tools like SQL, R, Phyton, Tableau, Power BI, Ms. Excel, or similar tools
Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in as a business analyst, data analyst, business process improvement, or management consultant
Experience in business growth/strategy and/or tech consulting Industry would be an advantage
