Medical Value Lead, PT Roche Indonesia, Diagnostics Division
Role Purpose:
As the MVA / MV Manager, you will be responsible for medical initiatives leading to desired outcomes. Developing medical strategy and driving the implementation of medical initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders and developing the internal medical and scientific expertise in the focused disease areas. You play a key role in delivering medical value to clinicians through continuous engagement and medical initiatives while shaping clinical and reimbursement guidelines in the Universal Health Coverage of the country.
In this role, you will:
- Possess expertise in the disease area of relevance with thorough understanding of disease management and unmet needs across patient journey and able to gain medical and scientific insights from clinical practice and real-world data and translate the implications to the medical value and actionable insights of diagnostic products and solutions
- Be the trusted source of medical and scientific insights to the organization and provide medical insights for strategy development, initiatives and projects in the country
- Develop medical strategy, medical affairs plan and ensure the integration with disease strategy and alignment with commercial strategies from business and customer areas
- Identify, map and develop the clinician KOLs in close collaboration with the cross-functional teams; maintain the KOL database, develop KOL engagement programs
- Develop and maintain the relationship with the top clinicians and KOLs in relevant disease areas to obtain the medical and scientific insights to support medical and commercial initiatives
- Identify the evidence gap, develop evidence generation strategy, initiate clinical and scientific studies and drive publications and the use of the evidence in clinical adoption leading to shaping guidelines and reimbursement policy (BPJS)
- Provide medical and scientific insights to external stakeholders to support and address clinical adoption of diagnostic solutions, communicate and manage the off-label use upon unsolicited request
- Provide medical and scientific support to commercial teams as and when required
● Advanced degree (Medicine, PhD) in the related field is desired. An additional business degree is an advantage.
● At least 10 years of work experience in healthcare industry, healthcare institutions or related field.
● Strategic thinking and planning skill with proven analytical and forward-looking thought process.
● Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
● Stakeholder management skill with the experience of collaborations with cross-function teams
● Strong focus on results and meeting KPIs
● Agility to learn quickly and continuously about the medical value of IVD products and solutions
