Essential Responsibilities
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overall business goals covering Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People aspects of Hot Gas Path (HGP) department of the plant. This role reports to the Service Centre Manager.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- As Senior Operations Manager, you will drive achievement for Fulfilment metrics performance,
- Manage a team of operation , product engineers, supervisors and technicians,
- Implement strategies to achieve EHS, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery, Resource Utilization, People Development and Compliance Manage Bullet Train expenses, employee overtime, job cost,
- Drive and implement growth strategies for the department,
- Strategize CAPEX & OPEX spend that are related to the department,
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) execution starting from commissioning, trials, and qualification that will bring about growth to the factory,
- Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization,
- Ensure communication of key business/customer issues to leadership, staff and employees,
- Select, hire, train, develop and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel,
- Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time,
- Interface with internal and external customers to ensure their requirements are met,
- Responsible for EHS, Quality Framework leadership,
- Drive cell performance through effective usage of lean digital resources,
- Head and drive lean execution and excellence,
- Lead Lean action workouts and drive completion for actions,
- Support WIP Inventory reduction and drive wing-to-wing lead time reduction,
- Coach OMLPs/Engineers,
- Engage in lean initiatives and AWO (Action Work Out).
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree is a plus) in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Metallurgical, Industrial, Mechanical and other relevant disciplines related to operation management or supply chain ) from a local or internationally reputable university,
- A minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, lean, operation, quality or equivalent role,
- A minimum of 4 – 5 years’ experience in leadership role,
- At least intermediate level of active English (daily contact with foreign colleagues) is required,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus,
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous (but not essential), and
- Willing to stay in Bandung.
