Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on mining and biomass energy. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience in business development in mining or energy company for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Business Development Director
- Developing a new business in mining or energy sector
- Manage together with legal, engineering, and finance team in all aspects of running the day-to-day, including a presentation to the customer
- Coordinate with engineering and finance team on analysis of asset (heavy equipment), potential customer, profit margin, and human resources cost before proposing every mining project site
- Calculate of P/L for every project in the long term period of the mining or energy contract
- Make a marketing strategy and review the contract before the approach to every potential customer
- Coordinate with engineering team for making a cost and budgeting for every mining project
- Make a list of the potential customer including their contract period due to mining or energy project requirement
- Make a list of mining or energy site project in all around Indonesia area
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years' experience as a business development or commercial role in mining or energy
- Have strong networking with a mining or energy project in all around Indonesia
- Have a strong knowledge of mining or energy
- Have a strong experience in make a proposal in mining or energy contract
- Deep analytical in profit and loss of mining or energy proposal
- Skill on overall general management with a focus on sales achievement
- Possess leadership to head the team
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
- Target oriented and aggressive sales characteristic.
- Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
- English language, international business experience highly desirable
- Experienced professional with an entrepreneurial character and a "hands-on approach."
- Team player, positive attitude, hands-on, and high flexibility
