Your Role
The position is responsible for all aspects of accounting, taxation, statutory reporting, and internal controls that ensure compliance to company policies and guidelines, and applicable regulations and laws. Ensure quality of financial information throughout the accounting process are consistent, complete, accurate, and timely to meet statutory and IFRS reporting requirements at Local and Group level, income, and other tax compliance. Monitor and provide oversight for transfer pricing.
A Typical Day
Work with Business Partners, Shared Service organizations and all stakeholders on various accounting and control issues and drive ECS compliance with Compliance teams
Coordinate with Internal Accounting Shared Services on all matters relating to accounting and statutory reporting requirements and review the General Ledger on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis as needed.
Evaluating financial transactions to ensure they comply with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS)
Support period close financial reporting in line with IFRS and Group Reporting requirements
Develop and maintain local financial and accounting policies in line with group policies, workflows, and methods after consultations with BA heads of finance
Review accounts to ensure they comply with the company's policy regulations and applicable laws
Reviewing financial statements to identify possible fraud and errors
Handle overall process of annual financial audit.
Prepare ad hoc reports related to statutory reporting and perform process initiative engagements from time to time.
Providing all accounting and financial reports and documents needed by the company's external auditors
Handle all appropriate tax returns, including but not limited to, computation, preparation, filing and payment as required by DGT, and responsible for related tax accounting and reconciliations.
Ensure overall tax compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of company's tax reporting.
Identify and mitigate tax risks by improving processes and implementing best practices.
Responsible for tax audits, tax objection, and appeal processes in Indonesia, with the support from Regional Tax.
Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Participate in Finance Organization Transformation, New IT System/ERP/tools implementation or enhancement, process automation, and continuous improvement projects as assigned, to drive operational excellence.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Brevet A & B, C is preferred, CPA is preferred
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Tax and Statutory Accounting, preferably with a big 4 background
Strong knowledge, expertise, and operational working experience in all aspects of financial reporting, accounting, and taxation in Indonesia
Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skill in both oral and written English
