Position Overview
Based at our Indonesia plant, in order to further strengthen and support our business development strategy, we are currently seeking:
Junior R&D Manager
(Cikarang, Indonesia)
Reporting directly to Country R&D Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for research, development and/or market adaptation of production formulations and technologies within the respective business unit.
Key Accountabilities * Responsible in research and development activities based on thorough understanding of the prospective products within their respective business units in Indonesia Market.
- Implement the development of new products and concepts, adaptation of existing formulas and creation on customer's demand of tailor-made products for company's customers.
- Provide technical support to customers for application of existing products and new products, in partnership with all the R&D and Business Development team.
- Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, and Technical team on specific area of the products in collaboration with Global R&D and Marketing team.
- Manage and complete proper documentation and experiments on raw materials, formulations, processing, QC tests, labeling on new or revised products.
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Science or Food Engineering major with strong personal interest on research and development for food products.
- At least have 3 years of hands-on experiences in R&D function, preferably in food or food ingredients industry.
- Good analytical thinker with strong project management skills, business acumen, and efficient work planning.
- Good communication and presentation with excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Independent person with proactive mindset and can-do spirit that also works as team contributor.
- Computer skills: excellent command of MS office and good knowledge of business analytics software/system.
- Ability to build consensus and lead cross-functions team of other departments and colleagues e.g. GM, R&D, Sales, Technical, Operations, etc.
- Creative, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Finds and implements creative and innovative solutions for business challenges
- Develops and shares strategic business and market insights and translates these into solutions for the business
- Promotes our company culture within the wider organization. Facilitates the understanding of the organizational structure and proactively connects key stakeholders
