Key job responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage the company's Indirect Procurement team
- Implement best practice procurement processes and systems, including supplier management and category management
- Drive competitive advantage and maximise value for money for company across all indirect categories and Projects (directly leading certain categories and supporting Group Procurement in the implementation of others), by developing robust category strategies
- Assure availability and quality of goods and services used by company in Indonesia
- Working closely with Group Procurement and in collaboration with other business unit procurement teams within the company
- Managing the commercial relationship with suppliers, to ensure business will get sourcing of all material and service in line with the given specification and quality expectation at the lowest total cost and expected quality
- Develop of supplier strategic relationship with key supplier to maximise mutual benefits
- To implementation of supplier objective and long term plan
- Benchmark current suppliers and costs against the market place to either identify value suppliers in term of cost, quality, and service on through supplier performance programs
- Manage purchase budget and control spend versus standard to ensure year on year cost are reduce overall.
- Finding solution to reduce cost in all elements of the supply chain
- Control purchasing budget in line with targeted
- Managing supply base development to continue business relationship approach with long term business partnership to delivery supply reliability
- Establish supply base relationship development programs with appropriate suppliers
- University graduate with good management experience
- At least 5 years' experience in purchasing management level and supply chain
- Excellent listening, written and spoken English
- Computer literate
- Experience developing and implementing strategic sourcing
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting
- Have experience attend working with an international supply base or group purchasing environment
- Professional negotiation skills and works in a proactive style with good energy
- Excellent general communication
- Flexible and creative approach to achieving targets
- Good understanding and practice of purchasing and supply strategy, management methods and techniques
- Strong leadership , motivation and managerial skills
- Managing time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standard
- Team player who works productively with wide range of people
