We have multiple business units within the venture portfolio (payments, remittance, digital bank, p2p lending, and securities), have access to extensive networks nation-wide, and are supported by strong ecosystems & resources. We believe that the Financial services industry is yet to be disrupted and the only way to do that is by having cohesive and open collaboration within the Financial Services industry as well as cross-industries
Responsibilities:
- Manage and responsible for preparing and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Evaluate and analyse financial data to drive financial growth, including leading budgeting processes.
- Manage financial transactions and its proper accounting treatments.
- Work with other stakeholders to develop best in class solutions for new products or features while ensuring proper accounting treatment and processes are adhered to.
- Monitor and manage internal control as well as risks related to financial positions
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting as well as tax standards
- Streamline accounting function and operations
- Coordinate audit processes
- Minimum 7-8 years solid work experience in Retail/logistics/e-Commerce related industry with proven experience in financial management/controller role.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent, Masters degree or accounting body certification is a plus (CPA, CEMA, ACCA etc)
- Auditing or big four experience
- Proficiency in accounting reporting software
- Highly proficient with excel spreadsheet (macros, lookup and pivot tables).
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skill
- Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
