We are currently Southeast Asia's largest and fastest-growing Fashion Rental startup. Our core product is Fashion Rental Subscription using a “Netflix-for-Fashion” model, the first and only of its kind in the region. Today, we are focused on building more products to improve Fashion Consumption and driving these solutions across the region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Day-to-day journal entries and ensure posted journal entries are complete and accurate
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with policies & procedures
- Complete period-end closing procedures and report as specified
- Work with the team head to identify and extract data pertaining to discrepancies and variances in accounts month-on-month
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
- Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOP
- Use softwares like Xero, BigQuery, Metabase (the candidate can be trained on the job) to extract and process data for the purpose of reconciliation of the accounts
- Provide sales transactions lists from out database to our tax consultant for sales tax calculations, including performing the reconciliation and classification of the sales transaction
- Monitor and check tax calculation and reporting of monthly and annual tax
- Liaise with internal teams to validate data relating to expenses such as payouts, discounts, among others
- Bachelor degree major Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Audit, Finance Operations, and/or similar roles
- Good communication skill
- Conversant with spoken and written English
- Computer literacy (MS. Excel, MS. Word, MS. Powerpoint)
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, strong accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Eager and willing to take on new responsibilities
