Job Description
The role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Reporting & Budgeting. This role is responsible for management reporting and analysis for the Business Unit. This includes the timely preparation of management reports and KPIs reflecting Revenue, EBIT, Gross Margin, DSO, DPO, cost items, benefits, Capex, customer profitability analysis etc.
The person will work closely with the Operating and Business Leaders to understand & analyse the financial performance, trend, gap analysis and variances and other key drivers such as business environment, fluctuations, customers and exposure. Provide meaningful analysis to the Management that improves the ability to make informed decisions. In addition, the person will support the Business Unit in annual budgeting exercise & other reporting requirements (quarterly and half yearly) and handle adhoc queries & analysis from Business Unit and Group.
As an Assistant Manager, Reporting & Budgeting, you will:
- Ensure all financial and management reports are prepared in an accurate & timely manner and ensure information for the material business operation has been included
- Continually improving the efficiency and relevance of financial procedures throughout the Business Unit
- Actively participate and support Group driven initiatives e.g. new finance system
- Be a liaison with the Divisions and Group on queries and reporting requirements
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Practical experience in Management accounting, reporting and analysis
- Well-developed financial management and accounting skills
- Experience in development of budgets, reports, guidelines
- Understanding of complex profit and loss and balance sheet concepts
- Work knoweledge of SAP financial systems
