About The Company:
Our client is a global integrated business enterprise that develops and operates businesses together with its offices and subsidiaries in approximately 90 countries worldwide. Our client has 10 Business Groups that operate across virtually every industry from Natural Gas, Industrial Materials, to Urban Development.
This role is on 1 year contract employment basis to be reviewed annually, reporting to the Head of Corporate Development.
Job Descriptions:
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
- Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
- Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
- Ensures compliance with local government requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
- 10+ years or more of related experience required
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Excellent management and supervisory skills, hands-on
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
