Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Manage sourcing of customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers and assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base
- Technical and in-depth knowledge of the valve & pumps business and market
- Set sales team profit goals and hold team members accountable for goals and recognize or discipline as needed
- Develop and manage operating budgets
- Monthly financial analysis: including determining overall success of current customer profiles
- 5-7 years minimum of business development and/or sales experience with a core focus in the valve and pumps distribution within the oil & gas vertical space
- Proven success in the distribution of valve and pump space would be highly desirable
- A proven track record of customer and market development with experience across the various stages of valve and pump distribution
- The ability to design and lead, leveraging on your knowledge of the heavy industrial market with a focus on oil & gas
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
