- Providing advice and technical leadership in process plant operations, troubleshooting and plant procedures.
- Monitors and controls the allocated plant process and related systems to achieve manufacturing excellence.
- Working with the operations and maintenance team to review, optimise and resolve production challenges.
- Cooperating in cross functional teams to find new ways to reduce the climate impact of our manufacturing processes.
- Be involved in HAZOP and LOPA reviews, Root Cause Analysis, Team Based Risk Assessments, and Job Safety Analyses in order to support the safe operation and maintenance of the allocated plant.
- Alarm management and ownership of process control change management.
- Prioritising your safety, and the safety of others in all practices.
- Assisting and leading projects to improve the plants safety, reliability and performance.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering/Industrial Engineering
- Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate Emulsions, and Ammonium Nitrate Prill, Ammonia or similar Manufacturing process operational experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with solid manufacturing plants and processes will also be advantageous but again not essential.
- Exposure to mining and blasting services would be desired for this role.
