The GIS Specialist is part of the Project Enginnering team to: * Develop and manage GIS applications, maintain geodatabases, and stay up to date with best industry standards
- Conducts data gathering, conversion and analysis of GIS data, including of drone aerial photos
- Prepares maps, charts, reports, and other exhibits with GIS data sets
- Coordinate with and proactively seeks data from various teams: land acquisition, external, construction, environment
- Close cooperation with the team the survey on site
The main responsibilities are the following:
- Develop and manage GIS applications, maintain geodatabases, and stay up to date with best industry standards
- Conducts data gathering, conversion and analysis of GIS data
- Prepares maps, charts, reports, and other exhibits with GIS data sets
- Coordinate with and proactively seeks data from various teams: survey team, land acquisition, external, construction, environment, geology, operations
- Experience :
- Proven experience of minimum 3 to 5 years
- BS or BA in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Surveying or related field
- Proven experience in delivering CSR actions with a positive impact
- Skills :
- Basic understanding of concepts behind data management in a relational database
- Strong GIS skills with GIS packages, including ESRI suite of products
- Proficient in the latest versions of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS, preferred
- Experience working with ArcGIS Online to produce web mapping applications and/or data
